Patagonia Mountain biking trip
 A unique bicycle trip mountain bike riding through beautiful changing landscapes of Andean cordillera region, the Lanin National Park, crossing twice to Chile. Exploring and biking the volcanoes land between Argentina and Chile visiting the araucarias forest and hot springs baths. Volcanoes Lanín, Villarrica, Quetrupillan on both Argentine and Chilean territory.

Itinerary:
 Our
bicycle trip starts and ends in San Martín de los Andes, by
Lacar lake shore. We ride our mountain bikes to the most beautiful sites
of this national park area which encloses the unbelievable
indigenous Raulíes and Roble Pellín (kind of oak tree)
forests.
Then we cross the Argentine - Chilean border twice through the Andes to completely
surround the volcanoes Lanín, Villarrica and Quetrupillan,
on Argentine and Chilean territory. Many other volcanoes
will be at sight on our way. We can observe the volcanic activity
in the area and the traces that this have left during million
years. We can see cold volcanic lava streams, hot springs
and conic mountain tops so characteristic to volcanoes.
 Only
in Argentine territory and on this area we can see the unique
Araucarias or Pehuenes forest (archaic form of pine
tree family) which will be the amazing scenery to our two
wheel adventure trip.
Total mountain biking distance: 450 km - 268 miles, (300 Km
- 178 miles approx. on gravel road, 150 km - 90 miles approx.

Maximum daily mountain bike riding distance: 65 Km - 39 miles,
average 35 km - 21 miles
 Includes:
specialized expert mountain guides, lodging in n hotels,
inns, hostels and camp sites. All meals**, farewell dinner
* Group equipment: (tents camping stove, camping cooking and
table ware, etc.)
National park entrance fee.
Mechanical assistance for the bikes, support vehicle, communications
(Handy / cell phone)
Not included: Transfer
to and from San Martín de los Andes
Personal equipment (bike, helmet, arma-flex, sleeping bag)
