Mountaineering in Patagonia
 Mountaineering in Patagonia offers excellent options for climbing, ascending volcanoes, making first ascents, glacier traversing, mountaineering expeditions, ski touring, rock climbing and amazing adventures. The Andes, Bariloche and its wonderful mountain ridges in Northern Patagonia, Argentina near Chile are perfect for mountaineers and trekkers from all over the world in search of wild and beautiful landscapes.
Some of our mountaineering expeditions include: ascent to Lanin volcano, Ascent to Mount Tronador, ascent to Domuyo volcano (the highest peak in Patagonia) are just some of the best mountaineering and climbing options of the region.
 Enjoy with us the indescribable emotions of reaching the summit of a mountain watching endless landscape views.
In winter season it is possible to explore different mountains and snowed areas taking snowshoing treks that lead you though lenga forest. For those more experienced we have off piste skiing and backcountry skiing options in our snow tours, also snowboarding, randonee or telemark. We can go to the surrounding mountains of Bariloche, as well as the Catedral ski resort (Catedral Alta Patagonia), the most important ski resort in Argentina and South America. There are also other ski resort in the nearby area, in the lake district: Cerro Chapelco, in San Martin de los Andes; cerro Bayo in Villa La Angostura or La hoya, in Esquel.  At the NW of Lanin National Park, between the Huachulaufquen and Tromen lakes rises a cone alike mountain with eternal snow and 3776 m above sea level: the Lanín volcano, which in araucan language means "dead rock". It is the national park 'trademark' and reaching its summit it is the longed wish of many mountaineers. The ascent through its northwest face or Normal route takes about 3 to 4 days depending on weather conditions. The sea level difference, the trekking terrain, the equipment and the the daily trekking time makes this trek a DEMANDING ascent and difficult.
It is required to be physical and psychologically in good shape.
