Itinerary:

After picking you up at the hotel, we will go in our private transfer to the southeast of Bariloche, within the Nahuel Huapi National Park and the Lake District, in North Patagonia.

In approximately 45 minutes, we will arrive to the mountain hut “Neumeyer”, located at 1450 m high, where we will start the trekking. With one of our mountain guides and surrounded by Lenga forests and Amancay flowers, we will explore the valley through quiet trails and varied options for those who love hiking. It is highly recommened to do this tour in summer season with its wonderful flowered landscape, in Autumn with its redish forests and also in Winter with its white snow.

We will visit small lagoons surrounded by different kinds of flora and will surely see woodpeckers or any other Andine species of the area.

As we hike up, we will find low growing vegetation, like bushes, up to the end where the rocky and opened trail will let us reach the summit of Challhuaco mountain. While hiking we will have a great view of the steppe and the Andes behind us. From the top, we will see the Nahuel Huapi Lake and many neighbouring mountains. We will have lunch there, relax and take some photos before we start descending to the mountain hut. There our private transfer will be waiting us to return to the hotel in Bariloche.

* In the Winter season, we offer the option to enjoy guided snowshoeing tours or ski touring in the snowed forests of Bariloche and the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Both of them are excellent options either for an individual or pair adventure in Patagonia or else family adventure vacations in South America.
