Itinerary:

Bella Vista mountain is located between the valleys Casa de Piedra stream and Goye mountain, the ascent goes by its Northeast face. The first part of the hiking trail goes through transition forest, then continues through a bamboo like forest (caña colihue). The view opens to the East where we can see the Otto and Catedral mountain ridge, also the steppe.

The ascent is constant and pretty steep where Lengas (notofaghus) trees start to show. Before we reach the summit we get to a ridge which is a nice place to stop take a breath and enjoy the wide landscape view. Hiking on the ridge for a short time we get to the rocky top of Bella Vista. As it name says we have the most beautiful view of the whole region. We descent through the same trail.
