Hiking & Walking trips in northern Patagonia

From the summit of this cerro (mountain) you have the most beautiful view of the region, enjoying the varied topography, lakes mountain ridges and valleys for hiking.

Itinerary:
Bella Vista mountain is located between the valleys Casa de Piedra stream and Goye mountain, the ascent goes by its Northeast face. The first part of the hiking trail goes through transition forest, then continues through a bamboo like forest (caña colihue). The view opens to the East where we can see the Otto and Catedral mountain, also the steppe.

The ascent is constant and pretty steep where Lengas (notofaghus) starts to show. Before we reach the summit we get to a ridge which is a nice place to stop take a few minutes to rest and enjoy the wide landscape view. Hiking through the ridge for a short time we get to the rocky top of Bella Vista. As it name we have the most beautiful view of the whole region. We descent through the same trail.

Personal equipment - clothing: Oversized, loose, soft clothing, small backpack (fanny or day pack type), hiking shoes or sneakers, hat (baseball cap) and warm hat, sunglasses, sunblock lotion
