Day by day itinerary:
Day 1:
 The day before the expedition, our mountain guide thoroughly checks the trekking/mountaineering gear required for the 3-day guided ascent in the Nahuel Huapi National Park, Patagonia. Our private vehicle transfer service will meet you at your hotel or lodging place.Then we will transfer to “Pampa Linda”, a small village at the foot of Mount Tronador, situated 85 km to the south of San Carlos de Bariloche.
After trekking to the Meiling mountain hut (at 2000 m.a.s.l / 6560 feet) for about 4-5 hours, we have lunch and relax. In the afternoon, we practise: how to rope up, mountaineering skills, glacier travel, climbing safety techniques and learn how to use mountain gear . We have dinner and rest.

Day 2:
After an early breakfast, we start the summit attempt. We go glacier trekking to the “filo de la Vieja” (Old Lady’s ridge). Then, we get to a spot called “La Depresión” (The Hollow) and start ascending towards the “Pico Argentino” (Argentine Peak) of Mount Tronador.
You will enjoy stunning views of the Andes, the “Pico Internacional” ( International Peak) and the Chilean Volcanoes: Osorno and Puntiagudo. We have lunch at the summit and descend to Meiling mountain hut in the afternoon. Relax & Dinner.
B, L, S & D – Mountain Hut
Day 3:
After breakfast, the morning is at your leisure to enjoy the mountain surroundings. We have lunch and start descending to Pampa Linda. Finally, we transfer back to San Carlos de Bariloche. End of expedition.
