Guided kayaking tours & sea kayaking expeditions in Patagonia

A unique sea kayaking expedition in Patagonia paddling through one of the seven lake branches of the huge Nahuel Huapi lake. Discover and explore one of the most virgin, untamed regions of northern Patagonia. An unforgettable experience combined with easy hiking.

Itinerary:

Day 1:
We start our kayaking expedition getting ready all our equipment. We will drive to our starting point: Bahía López, which is 30 km away from Bariloche to the West. Previous to our departure we will have a safety instruction meeting and we will describe you the whole itinerary. We then get to the touring kayaks paddling further to this special spot of the Nahuel Huapi national park where the López and Capilla mountain guard the entrance to the Tristeza lake branch, just a few minutes after we depart.

Slowly we paddle through its 15 Km of length passing along waterfalls and amazing views of Mount Tronador (3484 mts.) with its eternal snow caps and some vertical wall coast. At the end of the Tristeza branch there is a beautiful sand beach where we set up our camping for the night. During the afternoon we take a short hike to a nearby waterfall called Victoria. At dusk we enjoy dinner by the lake shore.

Day 2:
After a hearty breakfast we set out for a Trekking to Frey lake, where we have to hike along the same named river to reach the lake. A beautiful waterfall and leafy forest will nicely surprise us. This lake it is surrounded by granite walls and the Constitución mountain, Mar de Piedras mountain and Capitán mountain. We descent to our camping where we have lunch and the set up all our equipment to start our way back with our touring kayaks to Bahía López. From there we drive back to San Carlos de Bariloche to your lodging.


Includes: Kayaking guides (Ratio 1: 6 persons max.) – Transfers shuttle service – insurance (accidents and civil responsibility coverage) – group equipment if the program requires it (tents / stove, cooking and tableware), double sea kayak expedition type and gear (paddles, sprayskirt, waterproof bags, gloves, neoprene T-shirt and socks, PFD - personal flotation device, ultrex jacket) all the meals during the expedition (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner) energy extra snacks during paddling (powerbars, chocolates, snacks, hot and cold nonalcoholic beverages), – Handy VHF and communications equipment, cell phone, first aid kit
Not Included: airplane tickets, alcoholic beverages, personal equipment (sleeping bag, thermarest sleeping pad, backpack, these gear may be provided by Senza Limiti upon request). not mentioned transfers as included, National Park entrance fee, everything that it is not mentioned

Equipment - clothing: sleeping bag, thermarest mat - sleeping pad, comfortable clothing for hiking and paddling, polartec clothing, cloth change, sandals, windbraker jacket, hat, sunglasses, gloves and sunscreen lotion.
