The journey begins at Bariloche and finishes 2 weeks latter after paddle the entire perimeter, explore the 7 branches and discover the best scenaries of Nahuel Huapi National Park.

Day by day itinerary
Day 1:
Reception at San Carlos de Bariloche airport.
Transfer to Hotel, meet our guides and staff.
Welcome dinner for all participants.
Accommodation at Guesthouse

Day 2:
Day for getting ready and learning safety practices on the lake. Preparing kayaks and gear. Make your own dinner arrangements.

Day 3:
Breakfast and transfer to Bahía López, 30 Km west of Bariloche. Set out on the expedition. Paddle in the area of Llao Llao Park, Puerto Pañuelo and the north-east coast of Peninsula San Pedro. Explore the calm waters of Campanario branch (the first of the 7 branches of Lake Nahuel Huapi).

Day 4:
Paddle eastward along the southern coast of the lake, to the steppe, passing in front of San Carlos de Bariloche city. You will gradually approach lonely coastlines and wild landscapes. Stop at the mouth of River Limay before heading westward to explore the northern shore of the lake.

Days 5 and 6:
Paddle past sparsely populated areas near small islands and beautiful bays. Explore the Peninsula Huemul and Huemul branch at the foot of the hill called Cerro Tres Monjas. Enjoy different views of the region and discover new mountains and landscapes.

Day 7:
Continue paddling past Victoria Island to Villa La Angostura, where you will recover your strength and enjoy a comfortable bed and hot shower before setting out on the second leg of the expedition. Accommodation at Guest house.

Day 8:
Start the expedition and circumnavigate Peninsula Quetrihue, where we will take a short walk to see the unique forest of “Arrayan” trees. In the afternoon, paddle to Villa La Angostura. Make your own dinner arrangements.

Days 9, 10 and 11:
Paddle on the lake’s branches Última Esperanza, Rincón and Machete. Camp out on magnificent beaches and secluded bays. Take short walks and meet the families of early settlers who have lived in the area since before the National Park was created. Explore the SW coast of the Machete branch all the way to the beginning of the Blest branch.

Days 12 and 13:
Paddle west over the emerald green icemelt water of the Blest branch. Visit Centinela Island, site of the tomb of Perito Moreno, the creator of Argentine national parks. Discover splendid waterfalls and the breathtaking experience of Mount Tronador and its permanent glaciers coming into view. We will also take relaxing walks to explore the area.

Days 14 and 15:
Discover Tristeza branch as you paddle among imposing mountains and lush Valdivian vegetation. At the southwest end of the branch is the valley of River Frey. Take an easy walk to discover beautiful spots of the Andes Mountains in the heart of northern Patagonia. Hoist out of the sea kayaks at López Bay, from which a private vehicle will take us back to Bariloche.
Celebration dinner.

Day 16:
Breakfast, morning for relaxing or shopping. Transfer to the airport to flight out to Buenos Aires or other destination. End of services.
