Guided kayaking tours & sea kayaking expeditions in Patagonia

With crystal clear, emerald waters and amazing views of Mount Tronador this lake is an paradise spot in south Nahuel huapí national park. It was named after a "father Mascardi" an Italian catholic missionary who had his mission in this region more than 300 years ago. This is the only lake that its waters flow to the Pacific ocean in this region. It has two branches in "V" shape.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
We drive to Mascardi lake which is 45 km away from San Carlos de Bariloche to the Southwest. There we get ready all our kayak equipment and we have a safety kayaking chat where we explain the safety regulations and techniques describing the whole itinerary.

Then we start our sea kayaking expedition on Tronador lake branch (going from the NW to the SE). From here we get the best views to the surrounding mountains.

We have lunch by the lake shore then we continue paddling on our way discovering the "Corazón island" (Heart island because of it shape) in aborigine language called "Piuke Huapi". We get from here the amazing view to the end of the lake branch where stands majestic the Mount Tronador. In the late afternoon we set our camping for the night, time for relax, dinner and prepare for the next day.

Day 2:
After an excellent breakfast, we continue our touring kayaking expedition paddling through the Mascardi lake. If we are lucky to have a day with no wind we can see this lake turn into a huge mirror, its emerald green color comes from the glacial waters of the Manso river which flow from the foot of the Tronador Mount at the Manso Glacier into the Mascardi lake. The Mascardi lake its flows to the west to the Pacific ocean (the other lakes in the area flow to the Atlantic ocean). We stop for lunch by the lake shore then we continue paddling arriving to our starting point in the afternoon where is the van that will drive us back to San Carlos de Bariloche, to your lodging.

Includes: Kayaking guides (Ratio 1: 6 persons max.) – Transfers shuttle service – insurance (accidents and civil responsibility coverage) – group equipment if the program requires it (tents / stove, cooking and tableware), double sea kayak expedition type and gear (paddles, spray skirt, waterproof bags, gloves, neoprene T-shirt and socks, PFD - personal flotation device, ultrex jacket) all the meals during the expedition (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner) energy extra snacks during paddling (powerbars, chocolates, snacks, hot and cold nonalcoholic beverages), – Handy VHF and communications equipment, cell phone, first aid kit
Not Included: airplane tickets, alcoholic beverages, personal equipment (sleeping bag, thermarest sleeping pad, backpack, these gear may be provided by Senza Limiti upon request). not mentioned transfers as included, National Park entrance fee, everything that it is not mentioned as INCLUDED

Equipment - clothing: sleeping bag, thermarest mat, comfortable clothing
for hiking and paddling, polartec clothing, cloth change, sandals,
windbraker jacket, hat, sunglasses, gloves and sunscreen lotion.
